List of auto-generated emails, settings, and descriptions

List of email templates

Below is a list of all email types generated by the LearnLive system. The first column lists the name of the template as it appears on the email templates list; the second column lists the setting in Company Profile that controls whether that email is currently in use for your company or not; and any other parameters for it. Not all email templates have settings associated with them, and are noted as such.

Program Creation Email Program Creation Administrators Notifies administrators that a program has been created.
Program Update Program Update Enrolled participants Notifies enrolled participants and administrators of a change to a program or that a new session was added to a program.
Session Creation Email Session Creation Administrators Notifies administrators that a session has been created.
Session Update Email Session Update Enrolled participants Allows an administrator to send this notification via 'Notify Attendees' where applicable
Session Cancelled Session Cancellation Enrolled participants Notifies enrolled participants that their session has been cancelled.
Session Completion Session Completion Enrolled participants Notifies an enrolled participant that they have completed/passed a session of a program.
Session Enrollment Session Enrollment Enrolled participants Confirms a participant's enrollment in a session of a program.
Session Unenrollment Email Session Unenrollment Enrolled participants Confirms a participant's unenrollment in a session of a program.
Session Reminder Email Session Reminder Enrolled participants Reminds the user [X] days before the start of an upcoming program in which they have enrolled. A value of "0" means that the email will go out on the day of the deadline. Leave the field blank if you want to disable this email.
Catalog Update Catalog Updates All participants Notifies all participants of an update in the catalog.
Catalog Addition Catalog Additions All participants Notifies all participants of an addition to the catalog.
Purchase Confirmation Purchase Confirmation Participant Confirmation that the user’s purchase transaction has been processed.
Refund Confirmation Refund Confirmation Participant Confirms a user has been refunded the purchase price for a session that was cancelled or unenrolled.
Requirement Due Date Requirement Due Date Participant Notifies the participant [x] days before a deadline that a required program needs to be completed. A value of "0" means that the email will go out on the day of the deadline. Leave the field blank if you want to disable this email.
Request Evaluation Request Evaluation Participant Sends a request to a participant that they complete an evaluation, with a link to the evaluation.
Notify Evaluation Evaluation Response Administrators Notifies administrator who created a program that an evaluation response for that program has been received.
Compliance Deadline Email Compliance Deadline Participant Notifies the participant [x] days before a compliance deadline of his or her status in a particular jurisdiction, along with reminders of unfinished requirements. A value of "0" means that the email will go out on the day of the deadline. Leave the field blank if you want to disable this email.
Jurisdiction Status Report Jurisdiction Status Participant Notifies the participant of his/her status for every [x] day of every month. A value of "0" means that the email will go out on the day of the deadline. Leave the field blank if you want to disable this email.
Jurisdiction Out of Compliance Jurisdiction Incomplete Participant Notifies the participant [x] days after a compliance deadline of a status of "incomplete" in a particular jurisdiction, along with reminders of unfinished requirements. A value of "0" means that the email will go out on the day of the deadline. Leave the field blank if you want to disable this email.
User Registration Email User Registration Participant Sends a user a notification that their account has been created.
Admin Program Update This email is always enabled. Administrators Notifies administrators that a program has been updated.
Admin Session Update This email is always enabled. Administrators Notifies administrators that a session has been updated.
Admin Waitlist Notification This email is always enabled. Administrators Notifies administrators that a user has been placed on a wait list.
Custom Blank Email This email is sent on demand only; no settings exist. Participant This is the template used when you are sending a custom email, using the "Email users" function.
Invitation This email is sent on demand only; no settings exist. Participant This is the template used when you use the "invite users" function.
Password Reset This email is always enabled. Participant This is the email send to a participant whenever their password is reset.
Session Limit Reached This email is always enabled. Administrators Notifies administrators that the user limit for a given session has been reached.
Session Notes Control access to this tool via the media player configuration. See Create or edit a media player configuration. Participant This is the template used when a participant emails notes via the "Notes" tool in the media player.
Session Question Control access to this tool via the media player configuration. See Create or edit a media player configuration. Instructor This is the template used when a participant emails a question to a presenter through the "Ask a question" tool in the media player.
Waitlist Notification This email is always enabled. Participant Notifies a participant that they have been placed on a waitlist for a session that is currently full.

Additional Email Settings:

Below are a few additional settings that appear on your company profile's Email Settings tab. To edit any of these settings, see Edit email settings.

Setting name Description
Email From Address "Email address that will appear in the "From" field of the email. If a recipient replies to an auto-generated email for any reason, the reply will be delivered to this address. The choice is yours whether you want this to be a working email address linked to a particular individual, or a "do not reply", dummy email address.
Certificate Delivery Enable this setting if you wish certificates to automatically be delivered along with a "session completion" email, when that email is automatically generated at the end of a webcast or a self-study session. Disable this if you do NOT want certificates delivered with a "session completion" email for these session types. This does not apply to users set to "passed" through the Enroll and Pass tool-- in this case the administrator must manually choose whether to deliver a certificate or not.
Include Login Button Adds a "Log in to your account" button at the bottom of all auto-generated emails. Clicking the button will open the user's web browser to the "log in " page.
Include Support Button Adds a "Contact Customer Support" button at the bottom of all auto-generated emails. Clicking the button will open the user's web browser to the support home page of his or her default university.
